Woolacombe Beach

Woolacombe Beach

Woolacombe Beach is a family owned and run 3 mile long sandy beach on the coast of North Devon, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is known for it’s clean water and beach, it’s great facilities and breathtaking sunsets! This popular beach destination is well served by the Woolacombe Village, which has a wide variety of shops, amenities, and food/drink outlets.

All year round, the beach is always alive with activity, whether it be with surfers, walkers, runners, paragliders, swimmers, horse riders, sunbathers and families. A lifeguard service and first aid facility, coupled with car parking, toilets, and disabled access, make this a safe and convenient location to enjoy.

If you’re into surfing, there is surf equipment hire and lessons available from the village, it’s highly recommended to get yourself a wetsuit so you can enjoy the water for as long as possible! If you’re looking for something more relaxing however, spread out into the miles of golden sands, put out your blanket, and listen to the lapping of the waves.
